Spring breezes, fresh washed sheets, and warm cookies.
My work aims to capture the feeling of nostalgia. Why do you keep an old bowl or embroidered handkerchief? Why do we have boxes of old things we refuse to part with. Objects hold memories and my paintings try to capture that feeling while celebrating the objects. Sometimes the most basic items hold deep connections. How do we capture not just the image of the item but the feeling it provides.
